Cigar News: Casdagli Announces Mareva Spalato No. 2

Cigar News: Casdagli Announces Mareva Spalato No. 2 Casdagli has announced the Mareva Spalato No. 2 which will be replacing the Mareva Spalato Limited Edition. Mareva Spalato No. 2 is a regular production cigar and is on its way to distributors worldwide, just in time for Christmas.

Cigar News: Casdagli Announces Mareva Spalato No. 2 The main difference between the two cigars is the wrapper with the No. 2 using an Ecuadorian Corojo wrapper, creating a lighter chocolate note. All of the tobacco used in the new blend is at least 3 years old.

Cigar News: Casdagli Announces Mareva Spalato No. 2 “As the original was such a hit with the blend working so well in the Pyramide format we decided to determine the new blend by keeping the filler, binder and format unchanged and solely experimenting with different wrapper leaves,” explains Jeremy Casdagli, the Founder of Casdagli Cigars.

Cigar News: Casdagli Announces Mareva Spalato No. 2 The original Mareva Spalato Limited Edition was released in 2017 and only 10,000 cigars were made. Production of the No. 2 will be limited to 10,000 per year. The Mareva Spalato No. 2 like the Spalato Limited Edition is part of the Club Mareva Line of Casdagli Cigars which include five total sizes. The line was created in collaboration with the Cigar Club Mareva in Split, Croatia – the home of the Cigar Smoking World Championship (CSWC). Each Club Mareva Line blend is personally selected by Marko Bilić, Founder and President of Cigar Club Mareva and CSWC, and carefully created by Casdagli Cigars’ Master Blender Hendrik Kelner Jr of the Kelner Boutique Factory.

Cigar News: Casdagli Announces Mareva Spalato No. 2 The City of Split was named “Spalatum” by the Romans and then renamed “Spalato” by the Venetians. The presentation box replicates the famous black marble from the Island of Brac that the emperor Diocletian used to decorate his palace in Split in 305AD. Each box contains 15 cigars with the cigars priced at $24 each.
