Today Cigar Dojo and Espinosa cigars announced their latest collaboration, a cigar called Feng Shui. This marks the third release between the two companies.
The name comes from the nearly 6,000 year old Chinese art form commonly pronounced “fung shway,” or “feng shoo-ey”. It was used to align archetecture and spiritual structures to the invisible binding force called qi. This name pays tribute to the Asian influence of Cigar Dojo.
The Dojo team actually designed the custom mold for these cigars, making it the most box-pressed Dojo release yet. The cigar measures 5 x 54 in a robusto vitola. The blend contains two binders, one from Indonesia and the other Jalapa. The cigar’s wrapper is a Habano Rosado with filler of Esteli ligero and Jalapa.
“With the Feng Shui, it’s all about the gorgeous Habano Rosado wrapper. Just looking at it will put you in your happy place. The Feng Shui can best be described as having a juicy burst of flavor that will appeal to any type of cigar smoker.” says Eric Guttormson, owner of Cigar Dojo. This project has been over two years in develpment and will be realsed just before the Rocky Mountain Cigar Festival in Broomfield, CO. Feng Shui will be availably only online through Payless Cigars & Pipes and at Rocky Mountain Cigar Festival August 23 through 25th. It will be made available at 12pm EST August 23rd and a release party will follow at Havana Manor in Longmont at 12PM Mountain Time. The event will be hosted by Erik Espinosa and Cigar Dojo. Production is 300 bundles of 10 cigars with 60 more to be sold at the relase party and festival afterward.
Erik Espinosa, owner of Espinosa Premium Cigars, commented, “After attending the Rocky Mountain Cigar Festival for the past couple years, we wanted to come out with a cigar along with the Dojo that would be something special to commemorate the event. Creating the blend and combining it with the perfect shape and size took some time, but we really think the final product was worth the effort.”
Feng Shui will be normally sell for $99.99 (MSRP), but during RMCF the cigars will be discounted to $79.99 (plus free shipping).
