Today, Crux Cigars began shipping it’s latest release: Crux Epicure Maduro. This is an extension of 2016’s Epicure which used a Connecticut shade wrapper, now replaced with a Mexican San Andres Maduro. Last year Crux announced the Epicure Galant, which on paper is the same blend as this cigar. Since then, the name and factory have been changed. The cigar is now called Epicure Maduro and is made at Tabacalera AJ Fernandez Cigars de Nicaragua S.A. This is the first Crux to be rolled outside Plasencia Cigars S.A.
“Our customers have been asking for a maduro and we wanted to give them one of the highest quality,” said Jeff Haugen President at Crux Cigar Company. “We are blessed to work with AJ Fernandez the company and the person, they are awesome.”
The Crux Epicure Maduro comes in three vitolas: 5 x 50 Robusto – $10.00 per cigar, 6.25 x 52 Robusto Extra – $10.75 per cigar, 5.75 x 54 Toro – $11.50 per cigar. All come in boxes of 10.
