The D’Crossier Golden Blend helped put D’Crossier on the map in 2009. Now the company is releasing a “Reserva” version of that cigar to honor Isaias Santana Crossier, the late father of Isaias Santana Diaz.
The new D’Crossier Golden Blend Reserva is rolled at Tabacos de Costa Rica in San Jose, Costa Rica and comes in three sizes: 54 x 5.5” an 52 x 6” and a 56 x 6.5″. Each cigar ranges in price from $20.00 to $24.00. The blend uses an aged Habano Claro from Ecuador, and the rest of the tobacco is Nicaraguan and Dominican. The fillers have been aged 7 years. This aromatic wrapper, a Habano Claro has been harvest in Ecuador, triple fermented in a 10 moths period, and one year of aging in spanish cedar boxes that holds up to 100 pounds per box. The cigar ships December 28th.
D’Crossier Golden Blend Reserva comes in boxes of 25. Each cigar uses the companies trademarked breathable cellophane has been punched on the head of the cigar to ensure proper aging and respiration. While production is not limited, the first 2000 boxes will be numbered and contain a serial number imprinted on a golden hologram sticker on the bottom of the each individual box.
