Gurkha Cigars has announced three new lines for the upcoming IPCPR trade show in 2019 in Las Vegas, Nevada. The new lines are Real, Nicaragua Series and Treinta.

Gurkha Treinta – 30 -Year Anniversary Cigar
This release celebrates 30-year anniversary of when Kaizad Hansotia purchased the Gurkha brand. The name Treinta is Spanish for Thirty. The cigar itself is rolled by Arganosa Leaf in Nicaragua and comes in three vitolas. The first 1000 boxes in each vitola come in limited edition commemorative boxes. There will also be a tin sold containing five Treinta Toro cigars and sells for $67.50.
Gurkha Treinta is sold in boxes of 21 in these three vitolas:
• Robusto (5×52) – $13/cigar MSRP
• Toro (6×54) – $13.50/cigar MSRP
• Magnum (6×60) – $13.90/cigar MSRP
At the same time, Gurkha is releasing a limited edition anniversary humidor containing 50 special Limitada versions of the cigar. The humidor sells for $800 and includes 25 Treinta Limitada Belicoso cigars (6 ¼ x 52) and 25 Treinta Limitada Figurado cigars.
This blend uses an Ecuador Habano Rosado wrapper, Corojo 99 Aganorsa binder, and Corojo 99 and Criollo 98 from Esteli and Jalapa fillers. The Treinta ships late September.
Gurkha Real
Gurkha Real is rolled at Tabacalera Las Lavas in the Dominican Republic. The company described it as a smooth mild to medium smoke. The cigars are sold in four vitolas in 20 count boxes:
• Robusto (5×52) – $8/cigar MSRP
• Toro (6×54) – $8.50/cigar MSRP
• Churchill (7×52) – $8.95/cigar MSRP
• Magnum (6×60) – $8.95/cigar MSRP
The blend uses an Ecuador Connecticut wrapper, Olor Dominicano binder, and Criollo 98 Ligero (DR), Criollo 98 Seco (DR) and Nicaragua Seco fillers. It will ship late August.
Gurkha Nicaragua Series
The Gurkha‘s Nicaragua Series will be sold by invitation only to Gurkha‘s top retailers and will only be allowed to buy 5 boxes per size per store. It is a Nicaraguan puro described as a medium to ¾ full smoke.
The cigars are sold in four vitolas in 20 count boxes:

• Toro (6×54) – $9.95/cigar MSRP
• Magnum (6×60) – $10.95/cigar MSRP
• Belicoso (6 1/8 x 52) – $10.95/cigar MSRP
The Nicaragua Series is also rolled by Arganosa Leaf and uses an Aganorsa corojo 99 Clara wrapper, Corojo 99 Aganorsa double binder, and Corojo 99 and Criollo 98 Aganorsa fillers. It ships late August.
