In a strategic move to cater to the international cigar community, Drew Estate announced the expansion of its Liga Privada “Selección de Mercado” collection, introducing two new sizes: the Robusto (5 x 54) and the Corona Doble (7 x 54). Slated for release at the end of March 2024, these additions join the original Toro size, offering fans worldwide more variety within the line.
It’s a ton of fun to focus on the international cigar culture as we continue to build our master-brand, Drew Estate, with a global vision…and now we goin’ worldwide live – and every step of the way, never losing Drew’s noble purpose, the Rebirth of Cigars.
Jonathan Drew, founder and president of Drew Estate
The Liga Privada Selección de Mercado first made waves at the 2023 Intertabac Show in Dortmund, Germany. This line is distinguished by its exclusive use of a Connecticut Criollo capa leaf, meticulously grown for Drew Estate in the Connecticut River Valley. Known affectionately as “Mercado,” this medium-bodied expression balances boldness with sophistication, weaving luxurious espresso notes with the earthy robustness characteristic of the Connecticut Criollo.
Both the Robusto and Corona Doble are designed to offer unique, distinct smoking experiences while maintaining the blend’s signature profile. These new sizes aim to enhance the Selección de Mercado‘s appeal by diversifying the taste experience available to enthusiasts around the globe.
Echoing the original release’s dedication to quality, the new sizes will also be available in 10-count boxes, specifically tailored for the international market. Drew Estate ensures that the Liga Privada Selección de Mercado, including these latest additions, is crafted by the same expert buncheros and rolleras responsible for the Liga Privada 10 Aniversario, guaranteeing the impeccable construction synonymous with the brand.
