E.P. Carrillo has announced the Pledge Lonsdale Limitada for PCA 2022. This new, limited vitola to the highly rated Pledge line measures 6 1/2 x 43 and comes in boxes of 20. Each cigar has a retail price of $12.00. We rated the original Pledge a 91 in our blind tasting and made #21 on our Top 25 list that year.
The blend for the E.P. Carrillo Pledge Lonsdale Limitada is a new one, and uses a USA Broadleaf wrapper, Ecuadorian binder, and Nicaraguan filler.

This blend and cigar came about because of a survey the company conducted asking their fans what kind of cigar they wanted next, the answer was stronger and smaller ring gauge. The company says this is their strongest cigar to date.
Retailers will be able to order the Pledge Lonsdale Limitada at the PCA tradeshow next week. Only 1,500 boxes were made and expect to ship in September.
