Carlito Fuente (Arturo Fuente Cigars) and Jorge Padrón (Padrón Cigars) have finally announced details about their collaboration announced nearly two years ago. The new project will be shown in full detail at the PCA Trade Show on Sunday July 10, 2022 at 3:30 pm.
Carlos A. Fuente, Sr. and José O. Padrón, patriarchs of the respective families, were friends and colleagues for over 50 years. Now, each of their sons has taken the reins of those cigar companies and to honor their fathers are releasing a commemorative 40-cigar with two distinct cigar blends, one from each son.
The box is complete with with colors, symbols and photographs showing the family histories and contributions to the cigar industry made by both families. Inside, are two trays of 20 cigars, one tray with cigars made by Padrón in honor of Carlos A. Fuente, Sr. and the other made by Fuente in honor of José O. Padrón.
Specially designed bands honor both patriarchs with family symbols and the words the two men lived by – “Familia,” “Perseverancia,” and “Legado” (Family, Perseverance, and Legacy). Both families have selected rare tobaccos to create legendary cigars worthy of the extraordinary men they honor.
In keeping with their fathers’ tradition of giving, a percentage of the proceeds from the sales of this collaboration will be donated to the Cigar Family Charitable Foundation and the Padrón Family Foundation.
