IPCPR 2017 – Southern Draw – Blind Man’s Puff

Southern Draw Cigars sat out last years trade show due to the recently-announced FDA regulations cigars. But Southern Draw was at the show this year with updates to their packaging and a new blend. Robert Holt even told us exclusively that they plan on releasing all of the Quick Sraw series in a corona gorda format, not shown at the show.

Their new blend is the Jacobs Ladder Double Ligero, which was announced formally in a press release just before the show. The blend is said to be Southern Draw’s fullest body cigar to date. Jacobs Ladder is of course staying with the theme for all Southern Draw Cigars core blends, a hardy flowering plant with robust blue and purple flowers that has been used in many ancient medicines, however the Company selected the colloquial name for the connection between heaven and earth that Jacob, son of Isaac, dreamed about in the book of Genesis. See the press release here.

Other updates include a new look for Southern Draw’s pre-existing lines shown off at the show and price increases for Kudzu, Firethorn and Rose of Sharon line-ups.
