Before embarking on the major restoration of their El Reloj Cigar Factory in Tampa, the J.C. Newman team had to clear out almost 70 years’ worth of items from the building. During this process, they uncovered some unexpected hidden treasures. Some of these include a trap door from the 1930s with a secret staircase, J.C.’s travel trunk, and a stash of 10-year-old Brick House cigars that were tucked away in the basement. The latter is the premise for this TAA cigar.
The blend is the same as the current Brick House, but 10 years of age has changed the profile significantly. The company says that the aged version is more mellow and less spicy, but the flavors have married more. The Brick House Beginnings – TAA Exclusive Original Aged Blend comes in three sizes: Mighty Mighty Maduro (6 ¼” x 60) 10 cigars per box $9.80 per cigar, Mighty Mighty Natural (6 ¼” x 60) 10 cigars per box $9.80 per cigar, and Churchill Natural (7 ¼ x 50) 10 cigars per box $9.60 per cigar.
