Joya de Nicaragua has announced a new size in their Antaño CT line. The Joya de Nicaragua Antaño CT Lonsdale will be available exclusively for Club de Amigos, Joya de Nicaragua‘s top retailers.
The original Antaño 1970 was launched in 2001, and was a Nicaraguan puro unlike any before it. Now only was it one of the strongest cigars ever made at the time, it showed the world the strong character and essence of Nicaraguan tobaccos.
Since then, Antaño has gone on to become one of the most recognizable Nicaraguan cigars. The brand has also seen many line extensions including the Antaño Dark Corojo, Antaño Gran Reserva and the Antaño CT. There are over 20 vitolas spanning the Antaño line.
The Antaño CT came out in 2019 and was a more subtle, yet still bold version of the classic cigar. The blend uses an Ecuadorian Connecticut Shade wrapper, while still incorporating the classic Antaño Nicaraguan binder and filler tobaccos. The result is a medium- to full-body cigar that is spicier than your traditional Connecticut cigar.
When we launched Antaño CT, the reaction from cigar aficionados was amazing. The blend was well-received, just as we expected. Initially, we launched four vitolas, but we knew that it wasn’t going to stop there. That is why we have the pleasure to announce Antaño CT Lonsdale.

The Joya de Nicaragua Antaño CT Lonsdale measures 6 5/8 x 44 and comes in boxes of 20. It goes on sale to Joya de Nicaragua‘s Club de Amigos of JDN retailers at the end of June.
