In a recent announcement, La Aurora confirmed its attendance at the PCA 2024 convention at the Las Vegas Convention Center from March 22-25. The Dominican Republic‘s oldest cigar factory aims to showcase its latest releases, including the Puro Vintage 2014. Guillermo León, President of La Aurora, and Master Blender, Manuel Inoa, will be personally engaging with attendees, offering insights into the brand’s legacy and its offerings for the year.
This year, La Aurora will also highlight its E. León Jimenes Rum at the Alcohol Pavilion and conduct a pairing seminar to demonstrate the harmony between its cigars and rum. Guillermo León expressed his enthusiasm about participating in PCA 2024, emphasizing the importance of family legacy in the industry. “La Aurora is not just a brand; it’s my family’s legacy that has been passed down for over five generations,” he stated, underlining the significance of celebrating industry legacies at the event.
Despite its name, the Puro Vintage is a multi-country tobacco blend, incorporating tobacco from around the world, including Ecuador, Brazil, Nicaragua, and Colombia, meticulously selected by Manuel Inoa. This year’s release is described as having a complex flavor profile, boasting dark woody notes, leather, walnuts, and hints of wild honeys and dried tropical fruits, wrapped in an Ecuador Havana leaf.
Priced at $212.00 per box, containing 8 cigars, the Puro Vintage 2014 will be available to retailers starting mid-April.
