La Flor Dominicana Announces Solis for PCA 2022 – Cigar News

La Flor Dominicana has announced that they will be showing off a new cigar, Solis, for PCA 2022. This project is the brainchild of Litto Gomez Jr., son of Litto Gomez and little brother to Tony Gomez, both public figures in the company. Solis comes from the Latin word “sol” meaning sun. Litto Jr. come up with and worked on this project slowly over the last few years during his breaks from college where he spent time with his father and brother at the LFD factory in Tamboril.

La Flor Dominicana had been in business for 6 years when Litto Jr. was born. 22 years later, he has finished is first project for the company. To bring the project to reality, Litto Sr. guided his son through the blending process while Tony pieced together the art to bring his brother’s vision to life.

I was inspired by my big brother’s project La Nox and I wanted to create something that contrasted it. We have pretty different personalities and I thought that the sun and moon were a perfect metaphor to describe us.
