Saga Solaz Corona – Blind Cigar Review

"This was a very nice, mild to medium cigar from beginning to end. The creamy walnut flavors were enjoyable and the finish with white pepper was a nice way to wrap things up. I was particularly pleased with the draw and performance and based on the totality, I would recommend this to all of my friends for a mild medium cigar to start the day. "The aroma of dark chocolate and barnyard let me know from the get-go that this cigar wasn't going to play around. That first blast of red pepper just confirmed it. While not overly complex, this cigar was still enjoyable enough as the notes were quite prominent throughout the entire duration. I would also point out that I did not have issues with it staying lit, which can be a problem for me when smoking smaller ring gauges. You really have to be attentive to them. "Of the non-figurado parejos, Coronas are arguably one of my favorite sizes that I tend to reach for and I was excited when I pulled this stick out of the humidor. I just love a cigar that showcases the wrapper and binder as opposed to the filler and this blend certainly works in this vitola. Not only were the flavors explosive from the very first puff to the very last but this smoke was incredibly smooth throughout. The flavors never really transitioned but rather matured and evolved all the while complimenting one another in perfect balance.
