Today Quality Importers Trading Company (QI) announced that they have hired Joseph Gro for the role of Director of Marketing and Communications. This is a new role, and Joe will be reporting directly to Chief of Customer Engagement Michael Giannini who was hired to the company back in June. Joe will be responsible for developing and executing QI messaging initiatives, trade marketing and multimedia strategy.
Drew Estate’s Pope of Greenwich Village is making a comeback to Smoke Inn’s Micro Blend Series. The Micro Blend Series is a collection of rare, small batch cigars as a collaboration between some of the premium cigar industry’s top companies and Smoke Inn’s owner, Abe Dababneh. The Pope of Greenwich Village is named after the 1984 movie of the same name which happens to be one of Drew Estate Founder and President Jonathan Drew’s favorite movies. The original Pope of Greenwich Village cigar was first sold in 2015 and was the tenth iteration of the Micro Blend Series. Smoke Inn and Drew Estate also brought back The Pope of Greenwich Village in 2021 and it sold out quickly.
Drew Estate is expanding the availability of the Liga Privada 10 Aniversario Connecticut Criollo. Since its release in 2018, it has been nearly impossible to find and now will be regularly available as monthly allocation for qualifying Drew Diplomat Program participants beginning in mid-June.

Drew Estate will reveal a new brand during its “Freestyle Live: Special Edition” broadcast. As with previous new releases, the company will be selling Freestyle Live Event Packs with the new brand unbanded before it is revealed. Packs will be available at participating retailers nationwide beginning on Aug 18.
Drew Estate is adding a new to its Liga Privada H99 Connecticut Corojo line, a robusto. The new size was announced during their latest Freestyle Live broadcast. The Liga Privada H99 Connecticut Corojo Robusto measures 5.5" x 54 and officially made its debut as the Pennsylvania Barn Smoker DE25 Exclusive Pre-Party on July 15. This will be a regular production available to qualifying Drew Diplomat Program members starting in September.

Drew Estate has announced that their Limited Edition Herrera Estelí Lanceros are returning as a Drew Diplomat Program exclusive. The two lanceros are the Herrera Estelí Habano Lancero and Herrera Estelí Connecticut Broadleaf Lancero. Both cigars will be showcased during Drew Estate’s “Freestyle Live: Special Edition” broadcast, which will air tomorrow night from 7 to 9 p.m. Eastern on the company’s Facebook Live page and YouTube channel.
