"I really enjoyed a lot of the flavors that I got from this. Leather, cedar, sweet cream, cola, and grain were all pretty nice. The green juice flavor was a bit off from the rest of the profile and the draw was very poor. It's still interesting and I would give it another shot to see if the draw was better. " -Alan (Eulogy)

Fratello Cigars has announced a limited-edition humidor. Only 100 of these humidors will be made and each will contain 40 limited edition sizes of Fratello releases. The humidor has two levels and holds 100 cigars. Each comes with built-in chrome finish hygrometer.

"Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed this cigar. Performance and construction were great and the smoking experience was most enjoyable. Although not overly complex in the tasting department, the flavors I experienced were very enjoyable and tastes my palate could easily relate too. I would certainly not be ashamed to pass this stick out to guest and experienced aficionados who I smoke with on a regular basis. Last year, Fratello Cigars and Omar de Frias released two new blends, Sorella vs Arlequin, as a part of their "Space Fresh Packs" sampler. The idea was to get market feedback and see which blend customers preferred. Back in June, the company announced that they were releasing Arlequin to the U.S. market, as that was the blend they preferred. It turns out everyone outside the U.S. preferred Sorella. So now, they are increasing that cigar to international markets.

Cigar News: Fratello Announces Esclusivo Connecticut

Omar de Frias announced today a new cigar exclusive to Old Virginia Tobacco (OVTC), Fratello Esclusivo Connecticut. Last year, Old Virginia Tobacco and Fratello launched the Esclusivo, which was a 5 x 52 piramide using a Habano Nicaragua wrapper. The new blend uses an Ecuador Connecticut wrapper, Nicaraguan binder, and Nicaragua and Dominican fillers. Esclusivo Connecticut comes in one vitola, a 6 x 52 parejo. Only 300 boxes of 20 were made. Esclusivo Connecticut will sell at all 7 stores of the Northern Virginia chain.
