Excalibur Black Revealed by General Cigar – Cigar News

General Cigar has announced a new regular production line in the Hoyo de Monterrey Excalibur brand: Excalibur Black. Launching June 7th, the new blend uses a USA Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper, Ecuadoran Sumatra binder, and Honduran and Nicaraguan ligero filler. Excalibur Black wil be rolled at General's HATSA factory in Danli, Honduras.

"I have always been a fan of smaller ring gauge cigars. This little cigar was a treat. The flavors and how they were delivered were very good. This is a cigar I would reach for first thing in the morning or any time I want a flavorful cigar with minimal time to smoke. It is definitely a cigar that can be enjoyed by all, as it is very mild mannered in the strength department, while more medium full in flavor and body at the finish. "Nubworthy, buy a box, smoke one every day, what else can I say? This cigar was extremely enjoyable from pre light to nub. The flavor transitions were amazing and the complexity, which is sometimes not a good thing, was 100% on point here. It starts of medium and sweet and finished bold and zesty.
