In July of 2020, Jas Sum Kral came out with a Swedish exclusive, Sota Kakor. Jas Sum Kral owner Riste Ristevski and his Swedish distributor Karl Martin Brix Nelson from Kind Cigars had been working on the project since 2017. The name Söta Kakor is Swedish for sweet cookies. The name of the cigar isn't the only reference to Sweden, as the ring contains traditional elements from the Dalarna region of Sweden.
"This was an enjoyable cigar for me. A little strong on the finish, but the start and middle parts were very memorable. On top of that, it can easily be enjoyed if time is short, and can safely be paired with coffee and tea, as well as with spiced sodas and most beers and spirits. Hopefully, more of these will find their way into my humidor." -Kevin A. (Kevin A.)
Jas Sum Kral (JSK) has announced a line Extension in their Crna Nok line: Magija. The new 8x48 viotola pays homage to the mystical heritage of Macedonian black magic. The blend draws inspiration from the history of black magic practitioners, known as " volšebnici and vešterki " in the local folklore. The Balkans were revered for their mystical abilities, possessing ancient knowledge passed down through generations.
Jas Sum Kral has announced a pair of new cigars that will be available at their annual event, Ristefari. Last year during the annual Ristefari cigar event at The Golden Leaf in Hobart, Indiana, Jas Sum Kral released a barber pole toro of the Jas Sum Kral Tyrannical Buc. At Ristefari 2022, a 5x50 Robusto will be released as a limited run of only 500 cigars that were rolled two years ago. Ristefari 2022 takes place on March 12.
Jas Sum Kral Cigars and Black Lion Luxuries are collaborating to release an exclusive, limited-edition cigar for the members of the Black Lion Luxuries Club. The Kralot Black Lion Luxuries Club Exclusive is a Churchill that measures 7 x 50. Kralot was also the name of Jas Sum Kral’s first limited edition released in 2018. The Kralot Black Lion Luxuries Club Exclusive is similar to that original release but uses Ecuadorian Habano wrapper instead of a San Andres wrapper.
