Cigar News: Drew Estate Announces Undercrown ShadyXX

The original Undercrown Shady was released in collaboration with Shady Records for their 20th Anniversary in 2014 to 10 Detroit area retailers. The blend was a stronger version of the Undercrown like the Corona Viva and came in soft packs of 10 cigars. Now, the company is following that release with the Undercrown ShadyXX to celebrate Shady Records 20th Anniversary. It will be shown off at IPCPR.

Drew Estate introduces Undercrown line extensions including the Undercrown Shade Flying Pig Thursday, July 21, 2016 — Miami, FL – Drew Estate announced today the introduction of the following Undercrown Lineup: Undercrown Shade Flying Pig, Undercrown Shade Tubos, Undercrown Shade Churchill, Undercrown Shade 10 Count Metal Tins, Undercrown Maduro Churchill, Undercrown Maduro Tubos, and Undercrown Maduro 10 Count Metal Tins line extensions. The new cigars will be displayed in Drew Estate’s booth (Booth #2403) at the IPCPR Convention and Tradeshow held July 24 – 28, 2016 in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Estelí, Nicaragua – Drew Estate announced today the release of the Undercrown ShadyXV, a line extension to their coveted Undercrown line, produced in partnership with Shady Records. The NY and Detroit-based Shady Records celebrates their fifteenth anniversary in 2014 and will be working with Drew Estate on the release of the Undercrown ShadyXV. ShadyXV, a compilation celebrating the label's anniversary and featuring greatest hits alongside new music from Shady Records artists, will be released on November 24.

Quick Cigar Review: Undercrown | Dogma

I really dug the flavors I got right off the bat as well as the pepper that was there for the first inch or so. After everything mellowed out, it became a little less interesting. Slight transitions of creaminess went along with the wood. Not a bad cigar when wood was the dominant flavor, just not as desirable as the previous flavors.

The richness of the char, coffee and nuttiness was well balanced with some sweetness from the cedar and allspice.
