United Cigars has had Abuelo in the works for a couple years. They took time to find the right tobacco and the right partner to roll them. They ended up going with the Eiroa family and tobacco from Honduras.
The blend for Abuelo is a Honduran puro that uses uses a Habano wrapper, Honduran corojo binder, and authentic Honduran grown Cuban-seed Corojo filler and is described as medium-to-full body. The name Abuelo comes from the Spanish word for Grandfather and is a tribute to elders. The cigars are rolled at Fabrica de Puros Aladino S.A in Las Lomas, Jamastran Honduras, under the eye of Julio R. Eiroa.
This is 100% tobacco from our farm. Filler and Binder are authentic Corojo with our Habano wrapper. A true puro from Julio’s farm.
