Cigar Info
Last year, Warped Cigars introduced the second installment in their Seleccion Domain series, the Warped Seleccion Domain 4546, following its initial unveiling through the company’s DROP Cigar Club. This series distinguishes itself by featuring cigars from different factories, each with a unique colored band to signify its origin: green for El Titan de Bronze, red for Tabacalera La iSLA, and black for an anticipated release from Aganorsa Leaf. The Seleccion Domain 4546, showcasing a red band, is a testament to Warped‘s founder, Kyle Gellis‘s intention to highlight the distinct characteristics and strengths of each factory’s tobacco and craftsmanship.
This cigar was reviewed blind (no bands) by a panel of at least 4 reviewers. They did not know what they were smoking beforehand. The scores are an average of all the reviewers' scores with outliers removed. All of our cigars reviewed are shipped to the panelists with Boveda packs to ensure optimal smoking experience.
The 4546 variant is crafted at Tabacalera La iSLA in the Dominican Republic, embodying the youthful and innovative spirit of the factory. It is rolled in a Rothschild size, measuring 4.5 inches by 48 ring gauge, and features a Dominican Corojo wrapper, Dominican Cotui binder, and fillers from both the Dominican Republic and Nicaragua, with a focus on Dominican tobaccos. Available in boxes of 25, this cigar is positioned as a regular production offering from Warped, with each piece priced at $9.00 MSRP. The Seleccion Domain series aims to celebrate the diverse backgrounds and expertise of each factory involved, with the 4546 specifically showcasing the flavors and qualities of Dominican tobacco, complemented by Nicaraguan filler to enhance its profile.

Initial Impressions – Warped Selección Domain 4546
Appearance: 94
“Appearance the cigar is smooth shiny has a beautiful milk, chocolate wrapper with visible veins, and seems all over. There’s a wonderful triple cap to the top of the cigar.” –Bradlee W. (Brad W.)
Aroma: 92
“Leather, cedar, and a touch of coffee are the biggest components of the cigar’s aroma. Nothing out of the norm, but I’m just fine with that.” –Doug S. (Unpossible_1)
First Third
Flavor: 93
Strength: Medium
Body/Complexity: Medium
“The first third is like smoking a stack of pancakes. There’s a very delicious brown sugar caramel taste. The cigar isn’t flavored, but the mouth feel and aroma has a very very good sweetness to it.” –Bradlee W. (Brad W.)
“The first third offers light notes of wood and nuts. The flavors are minimal due to a snug draw. I had to double puff to get the flavor notes and decent smoke output.” –Jason A. (Jason A.)
Second Third
Flavor: 93
Strength: Medium-Strong
Body/Complexity: Medium
“The combination of baking spices and citrus continues much to my joy. It’s not an overly complex cigar, but nonetheless, I still quite enjoy the flavor profile. About the halfway point, the strength moves up just a notch past medium.” –Doug S. (Unpossible_1)
“One relight at the beginning of this third. I am still getting that sweetness along with wood notes. On the retro the cream is still there, but oatmeal lingers on my palate which is a welcomed change. The strength has not changed.” –Mickey T. (irratebass)
Final Third
Flavor: 92
Strength: Medium-Strong
Body/Complexity: Medium
“The final stretch of this smoke is equally flavorful as it is complex. The hints of cherries play with the creamy sweetness and herbal components for an incredibly smooth smoke. The culmination of flavors and consistency is nearly akin the a crème brulé with just a dash of spice, a near-perfect combination.” –Fred L. (Fred L.)
“Coming around the final stretch and this cigar hit a full sprint. Sticking with the flavors that brought it here, this is one race I’m glad to be a part of.” –Doug S. (Unpossible_1)
Overall Impressions – Warped Selección Domain 4546
Draw: 95
“Shallow v-cut yields just enough resistance to make this session much more enjoyable for me.” –Doug S. (Unpossible_1)
Burn: 93
“From start to finish the burn was solid. Slightly less than razor.” –Jason A. (Jason A.)
Construction: 91
“The same goes for the construction. It did require a little bit more attention than I would’ve liked to given it, but the flavors totally overshadowed the construction issues” –Bradlee W. (Brad W.)
Overall Strength: Medium-Strong
Overall Body/Complexity: Medium
Experience Overall: 95
“In all, this is an extraordinary cigar. The overall profile is creamy, sweet, and complex enough to always keep the smoker on the edge of their seat, seeking what flavor comes next. Rich, yet approachable, this cigar exceeded any expectations I had: A+” –Fred L. (Fred L.)
“This cigar was disappointing overall. Due to the poor draw, the flavor notes of wood, nuts, and earth were diminished all throughout the experience. The construction was good, however, no tar coming through even with the double puffing. Good long smoke time for a 4” stick, but likely due to a bad draw.” –Jason A. (Jason A.)
“Given this cigar, and its immediate ability to pair in my head with a meal I rate this cigar highly. Only if the cigar would have been able to perform a tad bit better it would’ve honestly got an extraordinary ratings for me. The brown sugar, dusky cocoa and earth flavors are match made in heaven. It’s nice in a world full of thick, strong, Maduro pepper forward blends to find a cigar that is mellow and sweet but not flavored. This cigar pays tribute to me to the terms “sweet tobacco” that you see marketed outside of the cigar world. It truly was a pleasurable experience.” –Bradlee W. (Brad W.)
“Overall this was a good cigar, nothing really Earth shattering or anything I’d write home to mom about, but it was a decent enough cigar with plenty of sweetness, cream, and wood flavors as well as some spice and earthy notes at the end to keep my attention. I would smoke it again for sure.” –Mickey T. (irratebass)
“Everything about this cigar just worked for me. Burn, draw, and flavor profile were all in harmony. The size was perfect for the straightforward flavors that continued from beginning to end. I’m definitely going to be bummed if this is some limited release, that’s for sure.” –Doug S. (Unpossible_1)
