Last year, General Cigar and their Cohiba brand launched a new line, Serie M. This was the first Cohiba cigar made in the United States and none other than the famed El Titan de Bronze factory. At launch, it came in just one size, a toro. Now, that line gets a new size in 2022, a Corona Gorda. You can read our review of the original here.
The new Cohiba Serie M Corona Gorda measures 6.5” x 48 and will sell for the same suggested retail price of $29.99 per cigar. It will come in boxes of 10 just like the original that sell for $299.90 apiece. The new size will begin ship to retailers on April 4. Production is limited to 5,000 boxes.
Since its debut a year ago, Cohiba Serie M has been a resounding success. We’ve received high praise from cigar media, shop owners and cigar lovers who have called Serie M one of the most exciting Cohiba blends they have ever smoked. Together with Sandy Cobas (owner of El Titán de Bronze) and her team, we’re proud to release the blend in a new size, giving cigar connoisseurs another opportunity to experience the artistry of Serie M.
Cohiba Brand Ambassador Sean Williams
Cohiba Serie M rolled by the Cuban expatriate cigarmakers of the El Titán de Bronze Cigar Factory in Miami’s Little Havana district. It is made using old-world techniques and featuring a double binder, closed foot and triple cap with a signature fan. The company desribes it as a medium-to-full-bodied cigar. The blend uses Nicaraguan Corojo wrapper, a first for Cohiba. The binder is Nicaraguan and the blend features Nicaraguan Jalapa and Esteli and Dominican Piloto Cubano tobaccos.
