J.C. Newman Cigar Company has announced it's latest project: The American. It will be launched at two events happening at the same time in Orlando and Tampa on Friday, May 31st. What makes this project so unique is that it is 100% American. It is made from tobacco grown in the US and rolled at J.C. Newman’s El Reloj factory in Ybor City, Florida. In addition, the boxes, bands, labels, molds, cellophane tubes, and everything else is made in the United States. This cigar was originally released in 1910.
Cigar Marketplace is a new B2B cigar platform that runs online meant to bring manufacturers and retailers together. It has now announced its first partners on the manufacturing side: AJ Fernandez Cigar Company, C.L.E. Cigar Company, Casa Cuevas Cigar, Caldwell Cigar, HF Barcelona, Los Caidos Cigars, PDR Cigars, Gurkha Cigars, Oliva Cigars, and Room 101. The company will officially launch during IPCPR 2019.

Today, Southern Draw Cigars announced two cigars exclusive to Cigars International: Fraternal Order White and Fraternal Order Black. Both cigars are rolled at AJ Fernandez's factory in Esteli, Nicaragua like all other Southern Draw releases. Both will be available at CI retail locations Friday, May 23rd in limited quantities.

Today, Crux Cigars began shipping it's latest release: Crux Epicure Maduro. This is an extension of 2016's Epicure which used a Connecticut shade wrapper, now replaced with a Mexican San Andres Maduro. Last year Crux announced the Epicure Galant, which on paper is the same blend as this cigar. Since then, the name and factory have been changed. The cigar is now called Epicure Maduro and is made at Tabacalera AJ Fernandez Cigars de Nicaragua S.A. This is the first Crux to be rolled outside Plasencia Cigars S.A.
