Newman Cigar Co. is bringing both traditions together by releasing José Gaspar cigars.

J.C. Newman has collaborated with Brizard to introduce The American Black Bison Cigar Case. This limited-edition luxury case, as with the cigars it contains, is handcrafted in the United States. This three-finger cedar-lined luxury cigar case is handcrafted in California by Brizard with genuine American Bison leather from Ted Turner’s Bison herd in Montana. Each case contains three vintage three-year-old The American Robusto cigars, which were rolled with 2018 Florida Sun Grown wrapper in J.C. Newman’s historic El Reloj cigar factory in Florida. Each limited edition case is numbered and only 350 were made. They have a retail price of $350.

"Overall, I feel this was an excellent cigar, although on the mild side, the flavor combinations which stayed the same, but transitioned in dominance from third to third, made for an interesting cigar. The silky smooth texture and cool temperature allowed me to take this all the way down to a nub. "Something about this cigar blend was a superstar for me. I often found myself smoking too fast because I was enjoying the blend so much. Leather was the star backbone of the blend from the first puff until the last. There was some great complexity first, with cedar sweetness and a slight white pepper on the retro.
