Muestra de Saka is a collection of different cigar blends from Steve Saka of Dunbarton Tobacco and Trust, each to be released at separate times throughout the next year. It was unveiled at the 2016 IPCPR and Muestra de Saka translated means “Sample of Saka".
"My overall experience was tainted by the tight draw for half of the smoking experience. The flavors that I did get were very nice and I would hope they would be more prominent in a smoke without the draw issues. For flavor alone I would definitely smoke this cigar again and in all fairness I should do so with a stick that is consistent in draw throughout the smoke. " -Diana (ArmyRN)
"With all the different things going on in this blend, there is a unity that is achieved here that is rare in cigar blending. While I was not blown away by this cigar, I was satisfied with the expectations I had based on its stellar appearance. I normally go for really chocolatey, rich cigars. And this was definitely rich in flavor, just in different ways than I am used to. I know it sounds ridiculous to describe a cigar as "smoky" but the flavors taste like they were fresh off the grill. There were also no real touch-ups to speak of. I would definitely smoke this again. Age and a good stout would both be great for this stick." -Ryan (Youngryan216)

Phase 2 will include Limitada and the Bull & Bear and will take place later in the year.
"Overall this cigar was not bad, although very one dimensional. Maybe with some rest it could be better." -Craig (WyldKnyght)

"This cigar started off with great flavors, but they were heavily muted and concerned me. Second third proved my patience worth the wait, with incredible flavor. Wasn't the most complex experience, but it was an immensely enjoyable cigar that I would really like to get my hands on more of. I was almost sad when I got down to the nub." -Doug S. (Unpossible_1)
There was a very positive vibe going on in the LFD booth this year, especially when you talk with Antonio Gomez, son of Litto Gomez, both blenders and owners of La Flor Dominicana.
