"I won't lie; I have a love-hate relationship any time I come across a lancero. When done properly, they're typically the best means of expressing a profile for me. The problem is the consistency overall with them. Some require constant relighting if you're not tending to it perfectly with your draws, some burn super hot when you do, others draw like you're trying to suck a marble through a straw. None of these experiences are ideal in my book. Fortunately, this one gave me none of these problems. It was a nice profile mix of chocolate and cinnamon with some heavy doses of pepper starting out. I'd be willing to smoke it again, but probably not enough to run out and pick up a box or two. " -Doug S. (Unpossible_1)

Casa Cuevas Cigars is launching "Patrimonio" at Tobacco Expo Plus (TPE) at the Las Vegas Convention Center starting May 12th. The Patrimonio translates to Patrimony in English, meaning property inherited from one's father or male ancestor. The name is dedicated to Luis Cuevas Sr. and to the paternal lineage of the Cuevas tobacco history which began over a 100 years ago. The Cuevas family’s tobacco history began when Juan Cuevas, a Spanish expatriate, began growing tobacco in Cuba in the mid 19th century.
Ventura Cigar Company has announced two new cigars in the Archetype line: Master and Pupil. These new blends will make their debut at TPE (Tobacco Products Expo) later this month. Both of these new cigars were blended by Juan Martinez and Dr. Alejandro Cuenca of Joya de Nicaragua, and rolled at their factory. These new blends will ship shortly after TPE.
