"This cigar started out typical with mild to medium in strength with mostly walnuts in the flavor department. As the cigar progressed the strength went down to a mild, and cream with roasted peanuts and hints of bread really took over. The second third was the best part of this cigar, but I'm happy to say those flavors continued until the end. I nubbed this cigar with about an inch to go. Definitely a great cigar, and that I feel is box worthy." -Mickey T. (irratebass)
Crowned Heads is bringing back their limited edition version of the Le Carême blend this year. Originally released in 2018, and making a limited edition comeback in 2021, the cigar is now back in its same 5 1/2" x 52 format. While the regular production line of Le Carême is trunk-pressed, the Belicosos Finos are round.
"This is surely a solid choice for anybody looking for a mild smoke with a great body. I think it was the body that impressed me the most. It really gives full body on the palate but the flavors are still fairly light as is the strength. This could easily be an "any time" cigar that I will enjoy again. " -Isaac M. (The Nothing)
"This was an enjoyable cigar from start to finish for me. It was a medium to medium-plus as far as strength. The pepper and leather notes for the majority of the cigar were nice and never overpowering. I would definitely smoke this cigar again. " -Quinn (Quinn)
"I have always been a fan of smaller ring gauge cigars. This little cigar was a treat. The flavors and how they were delivered were very good. This is a cigar I would reach for first thing in the morning or any time I want a flavorful cigar with minimal time to smoke. It is definitely a cigar that can be enjoyed by all, as it is very mild mannered in the strength department, while more medium full in flavor and body at the finish. I will be very curious to find out what cigar this is so they can be a permanent part of my collection." -Kevin A. (Kevin A.)
"Overall I really enjoyed the journey with this cigar though it seemed to be almost two worlds. Starting and ending there was such a sweet chocolatey flavor, but through the middle, there was a solid smoky bbq style taste on paper it doesn't seem to go together but I truthfully barely noticed the slow transition between them. " -Lauren S. (Lauren S.)
"This was an enjoyable cigar from the prelight on. It started of medium-full, built a little strength as it went, and finished in the upper end of the medium-full range. Flavor transition from the 2nd to the final third sealed the deal on the enjoyment factor and this is definitely a cigar I would visit again." -Kevin A. (Kevin A.)
"I highly enjoyed this cigar! If you’re not blowing smoke out of your nose you’ll probably have a more boring experience. While the French Roast coffee note on the draw is nice ALL the retrohale flavors of mineral, mint, and spice steal the show. Combine that experience with great construction and this cigar is a winner. " -Matt Cade (CadeTNCC)
"This medium to full profiled cigar will give you plenty of strong flavors to keep the most hardened enthusiast interested. Big bodied notes of chocolate, leather, wood, and pepper kept always in play at some level, while It burned on. Burn and construction were top-notch as this cigar slowly burnt and lasted a whole eighty minutes for a Robusto. It was a bit strong for me, but I am sure there are plenty of people who may enjoy this." -John A. (Bostoneo)
"Overall, a cigar with mixed feelings. While the first third was the best, the second third a bit boring, and the last third making a small gain on enjoyment, overall it was decent, enjoyable, but could have been better. Also notable was how long this cigar lasted, 90 minutes for me, and I am a quick smoker typically. While this was a smoke you’ll definitely want to try, my impressions from this sole sample have left me needing to try another to verify my thoughts." -John A. (Bostoneo)
