Today, Alec Bradley Cigar Co. announced an extensions to their value-focused line Project 40, Project 40 Maduro. This makes the second line in their ‘Experimental Series.’ The original Project 40 06.52 scored a 92 in our blind test.
Project 40 Maduro continues to represent Alec Bradley founder, Alan Rubin’s belief that cigars create a positive impact on both mind and body. “The dark and rich Project 40 Maduro is another opportunity for Alec Bradley to enhance a positive experience through the tradition of cigar smoking,” Alan Rubin said. “Premium cigar enthusiasts truly accepted the original Project 40 cigar line and the underlying concept that it demonstrates. Project 40 Maduro is the next chapter of the story.”
‘Project 40‘ gets its name from the scientific concept used to help determine and influence a person’s mindfulness and happiness. The calming effects of premium cigars are rewarding to aficionados and lead to relaxation and the feeling of being in control.
Rubin believes that a cigar, with the right blend and value, is the key to taking control of your happiness. The Project 40 Maduro blend uses a Mexican San Andres wrapper, Brazilian Habano binder and all Nicaraguan filler. Each size will retail for less than $7.00.
Project 40 Maduro comes in white, maroon, and gold 24 count boxes and come in 3 sizes. The sizes are simply their dimensions – 05.50 (5 x 50) MSRP $5.75 per cigar, 06.52 (6 x 52) MSRP $6.25 per cigar, and 06.60 (6 X 60) MSRP $6.50 per cigar. Project 40 Maduro is being rolled at J Fuego Cigar Co De Nicaragua in Esteli and ships in November.
