Alec Bradley Cigar Co. announced that their second entry to their ‘Experimental Series,’ Project 40 Maduro is now shipping nationwide. Project 40 and Project 40 Maduro are value-price lines but the original Project 40 scored very well in our blind tests and received very positive review from other outlets.
“When Alec Bradley announced the release of Project 40 Maduro in October, we were overwhelmed by the positive responses we received from enthusiasts, tobacconists and the media,” said Alec Bradley Director of Sales & Marketing, Jonathan Lipson. “The wait is finally over and we are extremely excited to share this new release with the cigar community!”
The name Project 40 comes from a scientific concept relating to how outside influences positively affect one’s well-being. Alec Bradley Founder, Alan Rubin contends that a cigar, with a proper blend and value proposition, is the key to taking control of one’s happiness.
Project 40 Maduro uses a Maduro wrapper from San Andreas, Brazilian Habano binder and all Nicaraguan filler. Like the original, Project 40 Maduro will sell for less than $7 per cigar. It comes in white, maroon and gold, 24 count boxes featuring the ‘Alec Bradley‘ and ‘Project 40 Maduro‘ logos and will come in 3 sizes. Each vitola is after its dimensions – 05.50 (MSRP $5.75 per cigar), 06.52 (MSRP $6.25 per cigar) and 06.60 (MSRP $6.50 per cigar). Project 40 Maduro is rolled at J Fuego Cigar Co De Nicaragua in Esteli.
