Omar de Frias has announced a new cigar today, exclusive to the state of Pennsylvania: “The Pennsylvanian.” This is the third in a series of state and area exclusive cigars and follows Fratello DMV released in November 2018 sold exclusively in D.C. Maryland, Virginia and Delaware and The Texan in November 2019.
The blend for The Pennsylvanian uses an Habano Ecuador wrapper, Dominican binder, and Nicaraguan filler. It will sell for $11 MSRP and comes in one size, a 6 x 52 toro. It is sold in boxes of 10 and described as medium bodied. The Pennsylvanian is rolled at the La Aurora Factory in the Dominican Republic and will go on sale this November. Production is limited to 300 boxes.
“Pennsylvania has been critical to the success of Fratello from the beginning, and what better way to say “Thank you” to the retailers there than with a blend exclusive to the state.” said de Frias.
