Cigar News: Recluse Cigar Company Announces Recluse Amadeus Habano Reserva (Exclusive)
Recluse Cigar Company (aka Iconic Leaf) has announced its fourth regular production line. The Recluse Amadeus Habano Reserva will be launched officially at the 2015 IPCPR Trade Show in New Orleans.
This cigar is a follow up to least years original Amadeus, which featured an Ecuadorian Connecticut wrapper and made our Top 25 List. The band is a red version of the original Recluse Amadeus.
The Recluse Habano adds a natural habano wrapper offering into Recluse’s portfolio joining the Recluse OTG (Brazilian Maduro), Recluse Draconian (Ecuadorian Maduro), and Recluse Amadeus (Ecuadorian Connecticut). The line will be available in six sizes, including the company’s three signature Sidewinder sizes.
The Amadeus Habano Reserva will be available in six vitolas and uses a habano wrapper, Mexican San Andrés binder and a variety of Dominican fillers.
Like the original Amadeus, it is being rolled in entubar style at Tabacalera Leyendas Cubanas in the Dominican Republic and the tobaccos undergo at least two years of fermenting. The six sizes are: Robusto (5 x 52, $7.50), Toro (6 1/4 x 50, $8.50), Tarantula (6 x 60, $9.50), SideWinder 1 (5 x 57, $8.50), SideWinder 2 (6 x 57, $9.50) and SideWinder 3 (7 x 57, $10.57). All sizes will come in boxes of 24 sticks.
