Blind Cigar Review: Iconic Leaf | Recluse Amadeus Habano Reserva Lancero

“If I were to make my own cigar, it would look much like this. It was almost painful to put this cigar down. The savory qualities kept me coming back to it, distracting me from other things (like the kiddo crying about her ball rolling into the street.) It wouldn’t be hard to put this cigar into regular rotation, and when this is posted, I’ll probably find a box. While there wasn’t a whole lot of transition in flavors, what flavors it has keeps you coming back for more.” -Isaac M. (The Nothing)

Blind Cigar Review: Iconic Leaf | Recluse Amadeus Habano Reserva Toro

“Nice transitions of background flavors made me forget there wasn’t any real leader with this cigar. The profile was well balanced despite not having a wow factor. There was a silkiness in the smoke that made for a nice mouth feel and very enjoyable smoke. I would certainly pick up a few to keep on hand.” -Gregg (McGreggor57)

Quick Cigar Review: Iconic Leaf | Recluse Amadeus Toro

This was one of the best Connecticut wrapped cigars I have smoked. It had a little strength to it and the body really kept up with it. The flavors were very good with slight transitions that kept things interesting. The performance was great and didn’t require any attention which always helps the experience. This cigar could do well as a morning cigar or first cigar of the day, but it could also hold up as something smoked later or as a second cigar of the day. I would definitely be up for smoking more of these.
