Warped Cigars announced today, a collaboration with Cornell & Diehl Pipe Tobacco called ‘The Haunting‘. Kyle Gellis, President of Warped Cigars, and Jeremy Reeves, Head Blender of Cornell & Diehl, worked for several months on the project to bring the blending process of warped cigars to the pipe tobacco world.
The blend uses Virginia tobaccos and AA Dominican Criollo leaf, a varietal that Kyle Gellis uses in some of his cigars. The company describes The Haunting as a bridge between pipe tobacco and boutique cigars. It is said to offer a full, balanced profile that’s strong enough to satisfy cigar smokers yet complex enough to hold the interests of pipe smokers.
Production of The Haunting is limited to 2000 tins and will be sold exclusively at Smokingpipes.com, starting Wednesday, October 9th.
