(General Cigar) has announced a new exclusive limited edition humidor for the 2023 holiday season that offers biometric security, The Biometric Humidor. The humidor is finished in red and black lacquer and features metallic branding and hardware. It also comes pre-stocked with a variety of cigars including some unique and rare offerings from the brand. As for the biometric technology, the humidor can be opened either by the owner’s fingerprint or by an enclosed key.

The Biometric Humidor has eight-drawers filled with an anthology of -sized cigars, including the original XV; Spectre from the 2018, 2019 and 2021 collections; Silencio; Edición Diamante; Royale and Red Dot Reserve, a brand new blend created exclusively for this release. The humidor includes a total of 106 cigars and carries an MSRP of $5,500.

Orders for the ultra-exclusive Biometric Humidor are being taken now, and will ship to retailers in mid-November. Only 130 humidors were made.
