This year’s HVC Black Friday is a different take on the blend according to brand owner Reinier Lorenzo. This year went without ligero, and instead chose only viso and seco in the filler. Most of them are from the Jalapa region and a few from Esteli. He says the visos are powerful enough to bring a unique body to this blend. The wrapper is a Habano 92 from Ecuador.
The cigar was rolled at the new HVC Boutique factory in Esteli, Nicaragua. Shipping will begin in October or early November. It comes in boxes of 50 cigars. Only 600 boxes were made. The blend comes in just one size, a 5 1/2 x 50 robusto extra. Cigars retail for $8.50.
