Today Crux Cigars announced an exclusive for Famous Smoke Shop, Union Fire. The name is in reference to the Union Fire Company, a volunteer fire department in Philadelphia. It was formed in part by Benjamin Franklin in 1736 known as the “Bucket Brigade" and was the first fire department of its type in the colonies.
Earlier this year, Crux Cigars announced a total rebrand for their company including new logos, boxes and bands for all their cigars. Crux showed these off at the IPCPR 2019 trade show in Las Vegas. The first phase of this rebrand includes Epicure, Epicure Maduro, and Guild blends in all their viotlas. This first phase is the portion shipping now. Phase 2 will include Limitada and the Bull & Bear and will take place later in the year.
Crux Cigars has hired their first Direct Sales Executive, Sam Ventura. Starting today, Sam covers the Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, and Arkansas territory. His role includes facilitating existing retail partners, hosting events, and growing Crux’s presence throughout the territory.
Today, Crux Cigars announced two new vitolas in the Epicure Maduro line: Corona Gorda and Gordo. The Corona Gorda measures 5.375 x 46 and carries an MSRP of $9.25, and the Gordo measures 6 x 60 and carries an MSRP of $12.50. These new sizes ship next week.
Today, Crux Cigars began shipping it's latest release: Crux Epicure Maduro. This is an extension of 2016's Epicure which used a Connecticut shade wrapper, now replaced with a Mexican San Andres Maduro. Last year Crux announced the Epicure Galant, which on paper is the same blend as this cigar. Since then, the name and factory have been changed. The cigar is now called Epicure Maduro and is made at Tabacalera AJ Fernandez Cigars de Nicaragua S.A. This is the first Crux to be rolled outside Plasencia Cigars S.A.
Crux Cigars is shipping their Limitada Gunner this week. This is their second line extension of the Limitada series, with the Redline being the first that shipped this year. Gunner was originally shown off at the IPCPR show in 2018.

Crux Cigar Company has started shipping their annual Limitada cigar, this year dubbed Limitada 2020. This year the cigar comes in two different vitolas “The Show” 5x52, a Box Press Marblehead and the “PB5” 5.75x54 a semi-box press. Each comes in boxes of 20 with production limited to 1,000 boxes of each, half of which are dress boxes and the other half refills.
