In 2014 Balmoral introduced their flagship cigar Añejo 18, which was an impressive success globally. It has been a wonderful year for Balmoral. The rare 18-year old Arapiraca wrapper is very limited and to continue the success of Añejo, which in fact is based on aged tobaccos, Balmoral now introduces its successor Balmoral Añejo XO.

Drew Estate announced today that the BOTL (Brothers of the Leaf) would make a 2020 return and every year after....
"The cigar started out great with notes of wood and nuts. There was a overlying sweetness to the whole cigar that kept it all as one but had nice transitions throughout. The cigar kept me interested and waiting to see what the next third would be like. The draw was a little loose but I was getting an adbundance of smoke that was neither airy or light. " -Matt (Mattehh)
I guess the only complaint that I have against the cigar is the lack of flavor transitions over the first two thirds. The flavor that was present was good and there was lots of it. If you like an oaky woodiness with a bit of spice, then this would be a perfect match. The performance of this cigar was top notch. I had to pay no attention to the burn or tapping of the ash. With the strength of medium and the flavors that it offered, I would consider this a good middle of the day cigar or maybe the second cigar of the day if you are planning to smoke more than one.

·“Where do I start. The flavors of cedars and spices were very enjoyable. The tingle left on the palate and tongue were very enjoyable. The smoke enticed you to want more. I thoroughly enjoyed this cigar. I would pair this with a dark beer or a red wine. I did not want it to end. For the length, I was a bit surprised at the time it took to smoke it. I thought it would have been longer. Very enjoyable and I would recommend this to my friends.” –Eric (smalls29)
