The Nestor Miranda Collection was released this year (2014). The Connecticut is a rebranded version of the Nestor Miranda Special Selection Connecticut. The blend is the same, so it’s nothing more than a rebranding of that cigar.
Miami Cigar & Company targets the 2014 IPCPR as the official launch pad for their new “look” as they celebrate 25 years in business. These key changes in branding aside from being of celebratory significance also better position the company to increase [brand] awareness to continue to serve their customers for the next 25 years.
There will be two blends produced, one from the My Father Cigars factory in Nicaragua, and the other from the La Aurora factory in the Dominican Republic. These are the two main factories Miami Cigar has had a relationship. According to the Cigar Insider report, the cigars will be packaged in a black lacquered humidor that can hold up to 75 cigars.
