"The experience was quite delightful with the complex notes of heavy cream, cayenne, salt, white pepper and more. The tasting notes danced around as I sat back and really enjoyed it. I do wish the burn didn't have an issue though." -Allison T. (The Yoga Ash)
"This is another cigar that hits my profile perfectly. A deep chocolatey Maduro with savory flavors and a lot of spice. The nicotine definitely picks up in the final third so you do have to watch out for that a bit, but as long as you are prepared this is a stellar blend. My only complaint is the fact it actually smoked faster than I expected at 2 and a half hours, and would not hold an ash for anything. I do admit I have a pretty good idea what this cigar is since Maduro Presidente cigars are pretty rare, but I have never had a chance to smoke it before." -Lauren S. (Lauren S.)
"Some days are just better than others, and this was one of those days. Beautiful weather paired with good company and capped with a superior cigar make this a day to remember. I honestly can’t remember a cigar with such luxurious smoke. And the light pepper and baking spices on my palate were interesting and welcome. This one is highly recommended!" -Jason H. (Jokey Smurf)
"This was an enjoyable cigar from start to finish for me. It was a medium to medium-plus as far as strength. The pepper and leather notes for the majority of the cigar were nice and never overpowering. I would definitely smoke this cigar again. " -Quinn (Quinn)
"This cigar was a real treat. Exceptional flavors throughout, with subtle transitions. Even at the end of the final third, flavors were still a delight, with no heat or bitterness. I would smoke this cigar over and over." -Randy B. (randobush)
"Any cigar that does not become bitter near the end is a good one. The spices for most of the time were a nice blend of cinnamon and nutmeg with a great spice tingle. Towards the end the black licorice came in but was not over bearing. All in all this is one that will pair well with a single malt scotch. It would be a nice addition to my humidor." -Eric (smalls29)
"This was not initially a cigar I would pick out to smoke. The ring gauge was great but the length of the cigar was more than I usually like. The cigar proved to be a flavor bomb for me and along with a great appearance provided a very good smoking experience. The first two-thirds were fantastic and even though the last third dropped off a bit more than I would have preferred, I enjoyed the cigar overall. Take a couple of inches off and make this a shorter toro and I’m in over and over again. " -Diana (ArmyRN)
"I somehow drew this short smoke out to almost 55 minutes. But I really enjoyed every minute of it. The heavy pepper and oak notes with the hints of citrus were a nice combination. If you are short on time or need a closer for the evening this cigar checked all the boxes for me." -Quinn (quinnpins269)
"This was a good cigar overall. Had the draw been less cumbersome, it would have been a treat.
Nice transitions in flavor while maintaining much of the original flavors at the beginning with just a couple of additions and subtractions. I would buy this cigar in the hopes that the next one would not have the same multi-puffs necessary on the draw." -Randy B. (randobush)
"On a grey, gloomy rainy Northern NY day, the kind that makes Eeyore on downers look like Richard Simmons on meth, I decided to take a break from the doldrums of watching my life pass me by, and throw on some Type O Negative, and light up this cigar known only to me as "1001." A nice looking cigar, brownie tannishy in color, typical of Connecticut wrappers, a pleasant smell of barn and tobacco. On the light up and first third, I got hints of lamb chops, BBQ oysters and diet Coke. Ok, maybe not. Cedar and white pepper were the dominant flavors through to the last third, wherein some leathery hints were thrown in. All in all, a good smoke, great construction, no burn issues, and thank goodness it didn't really taste like BBQ oysters. A good mild to medium smoke to be enjoyed with coffee I think, then again i haven't met a cigar yet that didn't go good with coffee. I wouldn't mind one of these for a good morning coffee, ease into the day, one, perhaps, that isn't doomy and gloomy as this day." -Joseph S. (Bearded Bastard)
