“I thought this was a pretty good cigar. It did not blow you away in any sort of flavor but was steady all the way until the end. Floral, nuts and bread pretty much ran this cigar for me. Would defiantly suggest this to someone.” -Jake P. (Jake P.)

“Really well crafted and lovingly made cigar that is probably the polar opposite of what appeals to my palate. Very crisp, bright and dry flavors. In the early portion there were some fairly negative points offering bitterness and astringency. Overall a fairly mild cigar that may appeal to devotees of a more classic Connecticut flavor profile. ” -John I. (John I.)

“This is a very calm, but satisfying smoke; something I would enjoy in the morning with a medium-roast cup of coffee, or even just water. When I take a steady puff, the flavor arrives, does it’s thing, and then goes on it’s way, without lingering too long on the palate. I’m generally not a fan of mild cigars, but I like this one quite a bit. ” -Nate H. (SineQuaNon)

“I really enjoyed smoking this cigar. The first 1/3 of the cigar was truly fantastic. Really great spice and pepper to begin mixed with hints of sweetness. If the flavors continued throughout the rest of the cigar, it would have ranked much higher for me. While the second and final 1/3 of the cigar was very good, I was missing a lot of the flavors that the cigar started out having. ” -David F. (dfafjf)

“This is a fairly short-lived cigar, easy smoking in under an hour, and probably just over a half hour smoke for most people. Each third had a distinct change of flavors that could easily be detected without looking. I found myself enjoying this one, a lot. But, it could use some glue. The tendency for the wrapper to unravel kept me distracted and, ultimately forced me to score the cigar lower than I would have liked based on flavor alone. That said, I’d give it another go in hopes that it’d stay together.” -Isaac M. (The Nothing)

“A very solid cigar. I really enjoyed the distinct flavor of raisins without any sweetness and the thick plume of smoke that this produced, especially in the second third. The construction of the cigar was spot on.” – Kent (Throck)

This is a very unique cigar, very different from anything else in the Man O’ War line. The others in the line offer a very pointed palate, they focus on one or two flavors, this one is very complex and balanced. The Immortal is not as strong as the Ruination, but definitely stronger than the original line. This is definitely the best of the Man O’ War line possibly sans the Armada.

“This was really a very good cigar. The flavors were full and rich, and even transitioned a bit during the cigar. The performance was exceptional as well, enhancing the enjoyment of the cigar. I have a suspicion as to what this cigar is…can’t wait to see if I’m right.” -Jason H. (Jokey Smurf)
