Cigar News: Jonathan Drew Confirms Herrera Esteli Lancero
While talking with Jonathan Drew of Drew Estate, the Maker of the Herrera Esteli and Liga Privada brands, at the 2013 Rocky Mountain Cigar Festival in Boulder, CO, the subject of lanceros came up. There have been rumors and pictures on the web in the last couple weeks of a Herrera Esteli lancero, but now after speaking with JD in person, I can confirm it’s going to be a reality.
He was going to give me a sample, but unfortunately couldn’t find it *tear*. I for one am stoked to see this, and I hope it’s as available as the existing vitolas. I think the lonsdale is where this blend shines and I think the lancero could take that further. No release date was given, but we can only hope we will see these hit shelves in the next few weeks or months.
