El Artista Cigars have announced new promotional products for the Big Papi by David Ortiz cigar brand. The “Big Slugger” is a baseball bat shaped cigar that comes beautifully packaged in a keepsake box. With two contrasting wrappers and the original Big Papi blend, the cigar can be smoked or simply kept as a keepsake or displayed. As with the other Big Papi cigars, the Slugger is made in Dominican Republic. It will retail for $45.00.
“We wanted to produce items that really stand out,” says Radhames Rodriguez, President of El Artista USA. “Anyone can make a hat or lighter in China. This is something special,” says Kevin Newman National Sales Director, “We launched both the Big Slugger and Humidor at Tobacco Plus Expo in Las Vegas and it was a huge hit with premium cigar retailers!”.
The second new item from El Artista is a Big Papi cigar humidor that can hold up to 50 cigars. It will be offered in two iterations. An empty version of the humidor with an MSRP of $120, and a version that comes with 20 Big Papi cigars, with an MSRP of $330. Like the Big Papi cigars, the humidor is also made in Dominican Republic.
