Amendola Family Cigar Co. showed off the first in the upcoming NYC Series “The West Side Story” at the TPE 2023 trade show in Las Vegas. The West Side Story will be the first in a series of cigars that will pay homage to the founders New York roots. The West Side Story is a true New Yorker as it was blended and rolled at the Martinez Cigar Factory based in Manhattan. The West Side Story will have two different blends in the same 20 count box. The two blends are Switch Blades and Baseball Bats and were inspired by the two gangs in the West Side Story film.
Black Label Trading Company is moving its Santa Muerte line from a limited edition to a regular production, and showed them off at TPE 2023 in Las Vegas. Like all BLTC products, Santa Muerte is rolled at James Brown's Fabrica Oveja Negra in Esteli, Nicaragua.
Casa 1910 showed off a new line of cigars at TPE 2023, “Soldadera Edition.” This new line from the company was inspired by female fighters of the Mexican Revolution. The new line includes three unique blends, each paying homage to a different female fighter. The cigars, dubbed"Sampetrina", "Teniente Angela" and "La Coronela", are rolled at Tabacalera LA iSLA in the Dominican Republic using 3 unique blends of Mexican and Dominican tobaccos.

Jake Wyatt Cigars is bringing a pre-release of their newest blend, the Jake Wyatt Maverick to the TPE 2023 Trade Show. The cigar is named after Gerard’s youngest son. It will be sold in bundles of 10, and one size, a 6 x 54 toro at an MSRP price of $100 per bundle.
Patina has announced a new cigar to celebrate their 5th Anniversary. The Patina Anniversary is actually being released in the company's 6th year, the release got pushed back because of COVID. This is also the company's first limited edition cigar.
Altadis U.S.A. has announced the H. Upmann 1844 Special Edition Barbier, a new premium cigar that pays homage to the innovative craftsmanship and a favorite pastime of the brand’s founding brothers nearly 180 years after the brand came to life. Barbier is German for “Barber” and is a reference to the two Ecuadorian wrappers, Connecticut and Sumatra, used in the blend to form a barber pole cigar. The rest of the blend uses a Java binder and Nicaraguan, Dominican and Broadleaf fillers. The cigars are rolled at Tabacalera de Garcia in La Romana, Dominican Republic.
Scandinavian Tobacco Group (STG), the parent company of General Cigar, Forged Cigar Company, and Cigars International, announced today that the company has agreed to acquire the Alec Bradley cigar business. The transaction is expected to close on or about February 28, 2023.
George Rico of Grand Habano cigars has announced the release of a project many years in the works. The self-titled George Rico El Enemigo will come under his G.A.R. brand. El Enemigo will debut at the 2023 TPE trade show in Las Vegas and will be shipping out in April. The cigars are rolled at the TabaDom Factory in the Dominican Republic and will come in three sizes: El Insulto (5 x 52) $300, El Duelo (6 x 54) $320, and El Triunfo (6 x 60) $340. The cigars will be exclusive to the participating 20th Aniversario ultra-premium account holders, which number 200 retailers nationwide. Only 1000 boxes of each size will be available for the first year and will be in limited production subsequently.
Quality Importers Trading Company (QI) has announced the Limited-Edition Flying Tiger Xi1, the first retailer exclusive for the newly created Qualified Program. The Limited-Edition Flying Tiger Xi1 will be showcased during the TPE tradeshow held in Las Vegas, NV on February 22nd-24th.
