After Suspending Cigar Safari in 2018 because of political unrest, the Drew Estate is new resuming the trips in 2020, but limited to 5 trips. Full schedule will resume in 2021.

Drew Estate celebrated the 20th Anniversary of the ACID brand in 2019 with the release of the ACID 20. It was originally only available in a robusto size, then later, the company added robusto tubos, toros, and Bronxilla. During their latest "Freestyle Life" facebook broadcast, Drew Estate announced the ACID 20 Connecticut, initially available in a Toro (6 x 54) size. The blend uses a Connecticut Shade wrapper, Indonesian binder, and Nicaraguan fillers.

"This was a good cigar with wonderful flavors and a personality. The taste started off on the medium strong side, went mild and then came back to a strong flavor. The black tea and cinnamon were wonderfully balanced and left a nice spicy taste on the tongue. The strength never got too strong to make me even think of putting it down. Retailers who participate in the Drew Diplomat program are given priority allocations on new cigar releases, limited editions, and commemorative cigars and products. Diplomat retailers are also granted access to Drew Estate’s boutique brands, including Liga Privada and Herrera Estelí. In addition, Drew Diplomat retailers receive seasonal releases such as the Ratzilla, and receive priority incentives for in-store events and promotions.
Drew Estate is set to announce a new premium cigar brand in a new Freestyle Live Event during its May 12 “Freestyle Live: Special Edition” broadcast. Like a few new releases prior, the company is giving fans a chance to preview the brand before its global unveiling by way of a new Freestyle Live Event Pack.
