Paul Garmirian celebrates 30 years of making cigars by releasing the PG Gourmet Series III. The original Gourmet Series debuted in 1990. Following that, the Series II was a bit stronger blend. Now, the Series III is said to be richer using darker and oilier wrappers.
"Overall, this was an okay stick, however not something I myself would seek out. While it was fairly consistent in flavor, it did switch up things to a slight sweeter note on the second half. This would pair wonderfully with a port wine, porter & stout beer with its robust flavors and sweetness options they provide. Burn, construction and draw were spot on for this sample and couldn’t of asked for much better. If you like dark, char, and a bit of chocolate covered cherry sweetness, check out this blend for your enjoyment!" -John A. (Bostoneo)

"Very full bodied and flavored from begging to end. It's certainly not pretty in terms of construction and the draw was way too loose but if you're looking for a heavy hitting cigar this is a good choice. This is good size since the profile never had any dynamic shifts but I'm not sure how I would have felt if this was in a gordo size. " -Alan (Eulogy)
"Magnificent cigar. I'm not a boxed press enthusiast, but I really enjoyed this one despite the format. The flavors nailed a lot of my personal preferences featuring loads of creaminess, leather; ranging from soft and supple to bold and aggressive, and throughout offered a balanced sweetness. Additional notes of mineral and salt played against the sweet creaminess nicely. " -John I. (John I.)
"I think the burn issue at the start really dampened this cigar for me. As much as I tried to look past it, and by the time it settled down the flavors of this cigar were tainted from having to re light and burn the section to get it going. " -Jake P. (Jake P.)
"I thought this was a great cigar. I enjoyed the bigger ring gage on this cigar, It had a great feel in your hand. I felt this cigar smoked just liked it smelled. It was very wood heavy with a honey sweetness. It was on the milder side on strength but I feel that even someone who leans to a stronger cigar would enjoy this cigar." -Jake P. (Jake P.)
"Really excellent cigar. A bit larger format than I usually reach for, but the super sexy raggedy foot, and the pigtail cap really got my heart racing when I first saw this. Construction was exceptional throughout, and the overall flavor profile was really enjoyable. Nice sweet and super ripe tobacco on point here along with flirtations with some spice, espresso, and pepper along the way. Magnificent cigar. " -John I. (John I.)
"Before lighting up a stogie I always say “please PLEASE don’t give me a boring cigar!” and this sucker is far from boring. It constantly keeps you on your toes with flavors coming and going and then coming around the bend again. I will be buying a box of whatever these are, it’s a damn impressive cigar.
