"This was an excellent cigar that I wished I smoked and paired with coffee. It is a very nice mild smoke with plenty of cream, cedar, and nut flavors up until the final FINAL third then more wood and earth notes took flight. I am curious to see what this is and would pick up at least a fiver. " -Mickey T. (irratebass)
"This was a very good cigar. It started out with quite a bit of earthy tones with wood and walnuts, as the cigar progressed it produced more sweet tobacco notes as well as some creaminess. The cigar ended up with the sweetness, cream, and then a bit more wood flavors to finish the cigar. I would definitely smoke this again. I would say this is at least worth a fiver purchase. " -Mickey T. (irratebass)
"Overall, this was an excellent cigar. The flavors were excellent, and the texture of the smoke was perfect. The draw could have been a little better, but still very good. All in all, I would most definitely smoke this cigar again, and I’m curious to see what it turns out to be." -Angel M. (Angel)
"Overall, this was a very good cigar. Starting off medium and remained at a medium in strength and body throughout. The cedar and nutty flavors followed all the way through, along with the background of citrus. There were no major flavor transitions, and it stayed pretty steady throughout the full experience. Making for an enjoyable cigar. I would definitely recommend this cigar to others, and I am interested to see what it turns out to be. " -Angel M. (Angel)
"The cigar was pleasing enough, but with the bunch and the draw it certainly took away from the experience. the cigar did have some bitterness. the last third really shined with the brown sugar joining it was a completely different experience." -Ryan H. (Ryan H.)
Cigar Dojo has collaborated with a LOT of cigar companies to release a special cigar. One they haven't work with, until now, is Fratello Cigars. Their first collaboration cigar is called the After BurnR cigar, a special project with deep ties to each company's unique histories.
"A well constructed cigar made for a light that we dream of. I needed only one short match for an even light. As the smoke hit my palate, I could easily identify the subtle bitterness of dark chocolate surrounded by silky nuances. After about ten minutes, the flavor began to change, introducing mint to the party on the palate. Unfortunately, it was a little much, as it muted the other flavors that had been present. As I continued to smoke, the mint settled down and the other flavors returned for a merry blend that pair well with a morning cup of joe, or a nightcap with some Irish cream." -Jai P. (Jai)
"This was a very pleasant cigar to smoke. It eased me into the experience with soft and pleasant flavors then ramped up to the fuller bodied and flavored cigar I prefer. I would gladly smoke this often and would happily recommend it to a friend." -Jason H. (Jokey Smurf)
"At first puff, I was certain my experience with this smoke was going to be lackluster and in line with what I get from most Connecticuts. Connecticuts have their time and place. There is certainly a handful that has knocked my socks off, but for a guy who generally reaches for something more full-bodied they are generally the exception and not the rule. I am pleased to say that I was wrong about this stick! What started off as one-dimensional and harsh, subtly transitioned into a smooth and dynamically flavorful cigar. The final third is unequivocally where this stick shined with a rich and meaty flavor that left my mouth watering. Had the first two-thirds echoed the last, it would certainly be a favorite of mine amongst lighter-bodied cigars. Next time I might pair this cigar with a light roast coffee to start my day off right." -Noah S. (Noah)
"Overall, this wasn’t a bad cigar. I don’t generally waste my time with a cigar that won’t stay lit, but this tasted too good. The first thing I noticed was the flavor of black tea. As I continued to smoke there were earthy tones that compliment the tea flavor quite well. About halfway through, a hint of spice was introduced to the palate, adding a layer of complexity. As the cigar rounded out, there was a nice balance of black tea, spice, and some mildly sweet earth notes. " -Jai P. (Jai)
