"This was a rich earthy coffee cigar with side flavor notes or cabinet spice, cherry stone fruit, and nutty flavor. The cigar has a strong mouthfeel that coats the palate. Huge smoke bomb of a cigar producing a ton of smoke. Retrohale was at first super spicy red pepper and cinnamon and then calms down towards the end of the smoke." -Chad M. (Chad Tchad)

·"Overall, I enjoyed this cigar. It had a real good mix of being creamy with a hint of sweetness at the end of the first third, going into the second third. It had a nice amount of overall spice throughout also. The spice did seem to pick up some right towards the end. Good smoke. I would definitely smoke it again." -Wes (SosaCub4Life)

·"Even though this cigar was a mild/medium taste, the woody flavors had a nice balance throughout. There were flavors of oak and cherry wood with a nice campfire aroma coming from the smoke. The after-taste was not over powering and left a nice taste behind. Even though a bitter flavor showed, it did not come until almost at the end. Overall I am very pleased and would love to enjoy this one again." -Eric (smalls29)
"This is one of the best cigars I've had in quite a while. Construction was top notch. The flavors were plentiful, and kept me interested. All in all, this is a winner that I would recommend to anyone who likes a good cigar. I can't wait to see what this is...I want more!" -Jason H. (Jokey Smurf)
The Nestor Miranda Collection was released this year (2014). The Connecticut is a rebranded version of the Nestor Miranda Special Selection Connecticut. The blend is the same, so it’s nothing more than a rebranding of that cigar.
"Overall this was a very nice cigar. The flavor profile of fruit combined with the pepper made for a really great smoking experience. The cigar was a good size that I told her was a good fit and everything came together quite nicely. Grab some of these if you can sit back and enjoy." -Steve (ThaGreatWazoo)
Overall I really enjoyed this smoke, although I do feel it was a bit young and/or needed more rest from its journey from the Dominican Republic, to Las Vegas, to Denver. I really enjoyed the flavors of the second third with the toast and coffee.

·It does everything so well it's hard to find a fault with it. If I'm being nit-picky, it smoked a little fast for it's size. The smoke output was phenomenal, the burn was almost razor sharp though out, the draw was perfect, and the flavor profile evolved all the way through. I'm not a flavored cigar fan but I'm a fan of this one. I remember smoking this at IPCPR and feeling that it was in the top 5 new cigars at the show. It was actually the best cigar that I smoked that day and was teased relentlessly for it. Trying it for a second time now, it holds up the previous experience. Honestly, give it a try and be open to the experience and I think you'll be very surprised at how good this actually is.
"Pretty solid medium bodied cigar. Not fully my cup of tea, but there were aspects of it that I certainly enjoyed. The transitions from the early portion to the mid portion as well as the mid range to the finale were also really elegant. The final portion was really the best part for my taste, and it wasn't really a chore to get there." -John I. (John I.)
