The Nestor Miranda Collection was released this year (2014). The Connecticut is a rebranded version of the Nestor Miranda Special Selection Connecticut. The blend is the same, so it’s nothing more than a rebranding of that cigar.
"A well constructed cigar made for a light that we dream of. I needed only one short match for an even light. As the smoke hit my palate, I could easily identify the subtle bitterness of dark chocolate surrounded by silky nuances. After about ten minutes, the flavor began to change, introducing mint to the party on the palate. Unfortunately, it was a little much, as it muted the other flavors that had been present. As I continued to smoke, the mint settled down and the other flavors returned for a merry blend that pair well with a morning cup of joe, or a nightcap with some Irish cream." -Jai P. (Jai)
"This is a cigar I would definitely have again. It might even be a box worthy cigar for me. Definitely powerful but the flavour is complex and progressive enough that the power sits in the background. The fluffy ash and quick smoking time can lead you to believe it is a light cigar but o’contrair! Great after lunch or dinner stick (make sure you have food in your belly). The next one I have will be with a dark roast coffee " -Diana (ArmyRN)

·"The first 2/3's would cause me to smoke this cigar again if offered. It was a pretty beefy cigar that would work well following a big meal. The flavors were OK but not a lot of interest. The final third was a let down for me." -Gregg (McGreggor57)

·“I really liked this cigar right from the first glance down to the nub. It was good looking, tasty, well constructed and had enough complexity to keep me interested and happy all the way through. This would be a great morning cigar for me but also a “go to” at any time for a nice well-balanced and relaxing smoke.” –Diana (ArmyRN)

·“If you could roll up an espresso stout into a cigar, it would probably be a lot like this one. Cocoa nibs and coffee permeated the cigar from start to finish, with little else going on other than an increase of body. The flavors were good, but there was little to keep me interested for long.” –Isaac M. (The Nothing)
"'Finger licking good.' Those were the only words in my mind when this cigar was burning my fingertips in the end. The flavors were great, and the transitions were cohesive. I'd love to try this cigar in a larger format because I couldn't get enough of this cigar." -Isaac M. (The Nothing)

·"This wasn’t the most progressive smoke in the world for me but it was very pleasant. I enjoyed the flavor notes and especially the last third where the smok tobacco came more into play. This cigar was very relaxing to me as it was smooth, minimal if at all pepper notes, cocoa, some floral and other earthy flavors were consistent and tasty." -Diana (ArmyRN)
