is featuring three novel cigar cutters from (Marseille, France) in the Arango pavilion at this year’s International Premium Cigar and Pipe Retailers trade show.

They include two variations on ‘s popular “Synchro” cutter (see below). The double-blade “XXL,” with a 70-ring gauge opening, takes center stage as one of the world’s largest-capacity cutters, able to cut any cigar now made. “Cutter RG 60″ offers greater economy and cutting capacity than the original Synchro. The third option is ‘s equally well conceived and executed “3 in 1″ pocket punch cutter.

Michael Gold, Arango’s president, comments, “We are pleased to be the exclusive US distributor for all products. is a world-renowned maker of advanced-design cigar accessories and a leader in humidification for home cigar storage.”

RG 60 was the first double-blade style variant, targeting smokers who like the Synchro cutter design and performance, but want a more affordable model. RG 60 satisfies smokers with its stainless steel operating hardware and ABS plastic body. Its 60-ring gauge size is greater than the actual all-steel Synchro 54 ring cutter. RG 60’s suggested retail is $5.00.

next debuted its XXL, because many 60-ring gauge and larger cigars are being produced by major manufacturers. Though slightly larger than the original Synchro, this design is light in weight, due to mating an ABS plastic body to the precise and durable stainless steel mechanism. XXL’s suggested retail is $6.00.

‘s 3 in 1 punch cutter is offered in two versions … a rectangular aluminum model in black, silver and titanium finishes, plus a rounded-contour stainless steel version in black, silver and bronze with a key ring on a chain. The cutter’s tri-fold design has two hinged side wings that open out to reveal three punches, in 34, 48 and 60 mm ring gauges. 3 in 1 retails for $53.00.

Quoting Gold, “Arango introduced the original Synchro cutter to US smokers in 2004, and its concept has built the Synchro design popularity worldwide. It combines the cutting quality of a double-blade guillotine with the precision of scissors … no more crushed cigar heads or cut fingers, as with regular guillotines.” A blade lock ensures safety when carried. Synchro is sleek and compact, with finishes that include stainless, precious-metal plating and exotic woods, with retail pricing from $76.00 to $95.00, depending on finish.

‘s 100% lifetime warranty and customer satisfaction guarantee apply to the cutters, which are all in stock at tobacco retailers.
