Davidoff announced the ninth iteration of their AVOImprovisation Series today. The series is based on the extra-ordinary life of Avo Uvezian and celebrates music and seizing opportunities whenever possible to create rich noteworthy experiences for all to celebrate.
“Avo Uvezien broke conventions as one of the first to produce an annual limited edition cigar in the year 2001. To celebrate his legacy, we decided to break the mold once again, with this unique 2021 release. The AVOImprovisation 2021 packaging is designed to honour the role copper has played in both art and music for centuries. The cigar’s shape draws inspiration from the timeless and celebratory history of the AVO line and the iconic AVOImprovisation Series. While we honour both the 20th Anniversary of these limited editions and what would have been the 95th anniversary of the composer himself, the Double Corona reflects the length and impact of these milestones.”

The AVOImprovisation 2021 blend starts with an Ecuadorian wrapper that undergoes a special aging and fermentation process to amplify the cream and sweetness of the tobacco. From there you have an Ecuadorian binder. Finishing up the blend are four different Dominican tobaccos. The cigar comes in one vitola, a 7.5 x 50 Double Corona that sells for $16.00. It comes in boxes of 20.
The AVOImprovisation 2021 will ship March 22, 2021 with production limited to 2,500 boxes for the USA market and in May 4,550 boxes will be available globally.
