The Fratello Cigar Company is officially launching it’s line of cigars at an official launch party at W. Curtis Draper in Washington DC. Brand owner Omar de Frias is hosting the launch party to introduce the Fratello brand of Cigars and the Fratello Coffee Blend to cigar and coffee aficionados in Washington DC. Fratello is a brand new cigar company that we first met at IPCPR 2013, we were all pretty impressed with their product. The event is free and open to the public.
According to Frias, the blend is developed in Nicaragua blended by Omar de Frias and is a full-flavored cigar with a medium to full-body that is layered and complex. Notes of spices and white pepper and followed by sweet notes of syrup and nutmeg, finishing off with some nuttiness, earthy, cedar and coffee notes. WRAPPER
The subtle pepper of this Nicaraguan Habano seed wrapper gives our cigar a unique flavor profile. The pepper bounces off our wrapper and filler in a way that gives our cigar the creaminess and finish that will take our customer’s taste buds on a ride.
BINDER
While smoking only filler and binder we found a great balance between our sweet and salty notes. This properly fermented Ecuadorian Sumatra binder stroke the balance that gives our smoke the complexity and layers we were searching for from day one.
FILLER
Cultivated in two distinct growing areas, our carefully selected Nicaraguan and Peruvian Filler gave us the aroma and earthiness we needed to round up our smoke.
